Christine was Carl`s Mum, she was the respected force behind the continued success of the Traditional food bar in the highly competitive market in the Norwich Food chain.
After a brave fight against cancer, Christine sadly passed away age 72. Christine and Carl her son fought off competition from neighboring food bars, Christine didn’t like to lose, she was fair, honest.
Christine could take on the toughest salesman to always secure the best product at a competitive price.
When Christine started Pottergate Pantry with Carl her son 34 years ago, Carl was little wet behind the ears, Christine dragged him kicking and Screaming into the competitive world of business, where second best was not an option, quality and a traditional service was the order of the day.
Giving the best service to there customers, supplying the only the best food to there customers. Was very important to Christine, which she passed on to Carl from day one.
Carl will continue Christine legacy, with the promise to always supply the best at the best competitive price. Always putting customers first
Christine will be missed, by the customers and salesman and family she was unique in her approach to business but was always fun, never will Norwich City see the likes of character like Christine again.
